IPPA Awards, November Results.

04th November 2009
At the Irish Professional Photographers Association judging Round 4 on Monday 2nd November I was awarded 1 Diamond, 3 Gold and 2 Silver for my submitted images.

The above image of Dunluce Castle, Co Antrim was awarded the Diamond.

That's all the rounds finished for the year and now we go forward into the Photographer of the Year. Out of all the images submitted a Portfolio of 4 images (silver or higher) can be submitted.
The Prizes up for grabs are as follows:
Best Landscape Photographer
Best Single Image
Overall Photographer of the Year.

As I only entered the Landscape Category, I can only get Best single image and Landscape Photographer awards.
So to recap during the year I entered 24 images in the four rounds. My totals were:
3 Diamonds
13 Gold
8 Silver

As this was my first year with the IPPA and having my images judged, I am very pleased with the results achieved. Do I have a chance of winning something, lets hope so. We have to wait until next February for the results.
