October IPPA Awards

The fourth and final round of the IPPA 2010 Photographer of the Year Awards was Judged last night. I entered 6 images as usual in the Landscape Category and came away with 1 Diamond and 5 Golds. I was over the moon is an under statement. I could have got 2 Diamonds because one of the judges wanted to talked up the image but he failed.
It was a great night and a I think that my self belief is right back on track. Have a read of this to understand more : "Donabate Walk"

That's all the rounds finished for the year and now we go forward into the Photographer of the Year Awards. As I only enter the Landscape Category and have qualified to enter a panel of 4 images for Best Landscape Photographer and Best Single Image.
My complete results for the year were 1 Diamond, 13 Gold and 10 Silver.
We will have to wait until next February when the results to be announced at the Gala Dinner night.
