As you travel down to the Beach at Donabate, County Dublin, you have the choice of two beachs one to the right and one to the left. This image was taken from the beach on the left. All the elememts were right for this image, low side-lighting, low tide and blue skies with clouds. This side-lighting make the rocks on the beach take on a 3-D effecf and adds depth to the image. The island you see on the horizon is a island off the east coast called Lambay Island. If you were to continue your walk around this beach and headland you will come to another seaside village in north county Dublin called Portraine.
