glengarriff-bay

Diamond Award from the Irish Professional Photographers Association (IPPA) in 2009
This was a wonderful find of a location on the road into Glengarriff along the N71. We turned off the main road drove down this road, well I would not call it a road. At time it's great to be driving a 4x4. The 'road' came to a end just above the spot this image was taken from. This is a view across Glengarriff Bay. Using a low angle, polarizer filter to bring out the detail in the rock pools in the foreground. You can see the storm clouds coming in out the Caha Mountains in the background.
